YES THESE ARE ALLY FRIENDLY. In fact at this point in time it’s imperative that allies speak up because trans folks are exhausted.  However here’s a few tips..

Allyship isn’t linear. We’re learning alongside each other. 

So the kind of allies we need wearing these tees are the kind who aren’t afraid of starting conversations. No one has all the answers but starting the conversation is where it’s at. No question is silly as long as it’s asked with respect.

However with respect what we don’t need is virtue signalling. Wearing these powerful words to appear as an ally without carrying through with the work, is as bad as a venue with a rainbow in their window whose staff yell at patrons over gender identity and pronouns.

Don’t virtue signal but also don’t be scared. Intention is everything and if your heart is in the right place that’s all that matters. This tee which will go directly to trans health orgs, can be your first step to allyship.
